I can plug my phone in to my 2011 iMac and it loads right up. I have read every article and forum I can find on the topic, and tried every fix recommended. I have updated every driver, uninstalled and reinstalled every program and all of my software is up to date. Of course, it will detect my phone, start the transfer, then fail. I recently purchased the 2019 version of Adobe Premiere Elements, which includes the Photo Organizer, a program which I can directly load pictures from my phone. I have tried EVERY photo transfer app, and they all do the same thing every time. It's then a 5-10 minute ordeal of unplugging my phone and plugging it back in to get it to find it again, all to repeat the same process with the same end results. This is, of course, when it decides to locate The Microsoft photos app will have a notification pop up that says "Something Went Wrong" and quit. Specifically, it will ALWAYS fail when trying to transfer pictures and videos from my phone to my computer. I have tried everything, read every fix, updated every program and driver, used a brand new USB cord, all to no avail.

I recently purchased an HP Envy laptop with Windows 10. I'm to the point of frustration over load.
